Rhodes - Harbor with Cruise Ships

A general view of Mandraki harbor in Rhodes, from the castle. Three medieval windmills, which ground grain brought to Rhodes by ship, are at the right. The harbor entrance, presumed site of the Colossus of Rhodes, is at left. The city of Rhodes was founded in 408 BC. All sources that I have seen agree on the exact date, so Rhodes must have been a "planned city."
Two small cruise ships are in the background. The cruise ships were owned by the Chandris Group. The X on the funnels is the Greek letter chi, the first letter in Chandris. The Chandris Group founded Celebrity Cruises in 1988. Celebrity shps also have the white X on their funnels.
