1. Tumblr.

Now I have NEVER used tumblr before, and I'm still learning and working on my page layouts... but it was suggested to me to finally make one.
Let me give you some backstory. My dream is to one day open my own 'DDE-Type Store' here in Chicago. I absolutely LOVE handling business, invoicing, and especially, shipping things. While I would love to continue on with Hello, Monster, eventually moving up to sewing outfits, sewing human hats, making toys and casting dolls and parts, I could never handle it on a large scale... it's just too stressful to do every job all by yourself. I will attempt doing these things on a small scale, but ideally, I would just rather be an intermediary dealer for these dolls that I love.
I dream of having my own shop one day here in Chicago... doing layaways, taking orders, stocking some dolls and accessories in a quaint little shop. I'd also LOVE to have an extra room inside or a courtyard out back with umbrella benchs and flowers where people can have doll meets. It would be wonderful.
Since that can't happen yet (I do NOT have that type of money and I'm not secure in life to take out a small business loan yet), instead I run GOs and Splits all the time. I enjoy it! Unfortunately, DoA has some really strict rules that limit splits now, and on top of that, not everyone is a member. So now I'll be hosting all the order information ALSO on a tumblr. This will also allow me to help out people who aren't members of DoA.
I know it currently looks like crap. I'm in the process of learning tumblr and working on graphics/ editing the html coding. It will look pretty soon! Still all the information is there so please check it out, follow me, and help share the posts!
2. Flickr.
I'm sorry for my lack of doll photos and content atm. I pulled it all down when I decided I had to work on re-editing the photos (they were originally edited on an old pc and the calibration was slightly off) and adding watermarks. I would have like to have been farther by now but my external hard drive straight up died, and my internal HD is nearly full. Soooo now I'm waiting on a new external, or to borrow one >< Sorry sorry sorry! They will be back up by spring, promise! After that I will be WAY more active :)
Now to run off to dinner!
