We've sold our bakfiets and bought a new, larger one. This one is purple and will carry 2 kids and a maxi-cose in the front. Or 2 kids , a toy car and a small kid bike...
They're expensive, about EUR 1500, but it helps to think of it not as an expensive bike, but as a very cheap car. We use it for everything in town.
