In 1958 Ford claimed that they sold more police cars "Than All Other Makes Combined". Maybe the 303 hp Police Interceptor 361 Special V-8 had something to do with that popularity. Interestingly they showed 2 and 4-door wagons, but only 2-door Custom 300 sedans in this brochure.
