Vista Theatre, Los Angeles, CA, 2007; We went to see Superbad. I really do like that Michael Cera kid. He saved the movie for me. It was a funny concept and calls for minor reminiscence.

Family Fall Fest Movie Poster

Goal: Promote Family Fall Fest a typical harvest event with games for the kids, costume contest, ect. Our theme this year is movies.
Audience: k-5th grades + Parents
Direction: Gave it a movie poster feel. With a tagline at the top with event info, and then credits at the bottom. I used the picture of the kids to represent both a "costume" and a movie poster feel.

Movie poster for Asterix

When I was a kid growing up, I remember fondly reading the Asterix comic books. Every summer, there was a local library and I would ride my bike there every day (usually two or three times in the same day) and borrow the Asterix comic books. I would take it home, read it immediately, and then go back to the library so I could borrow another book. That is one of my favourite memories of my childhood.
I never knew there were live action movies of Asterix. Apparently, this was pretty big over in Europe, with promotional tie-ins to McDonald's, even.
