This photograph was taken in June 2000 prior to the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax in Australia. The image is of the shop window display of Hellraiser Tackle & Electronics, 719-721 New Canterbury Road, Dulwich Hill, New South Wales (NSW).
The image depicts the Prime Minister of the time, John Howard, saying "Don't Be a FLATHEAD like me ... Shop at HELLRAISER and beat the G.S.T. !" while riding a Marlin. A thought bubble appearing behind him says "No One likes Me,I think i'll go away and eat Worms". The Marlin itself asks the question “Is that a big Hook in my mouth, or just a little prick on my back?” (words partially cropped in photograph).
